Editorial policy
Lasting Screen Journal aims for accurate, independent writing about screen images, with a clear distinction between observation, interpretation, and material created in partnership.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check factual statements against appropriate sources and take care with names, dates, and descriptions of screen forms. Visual interpretation is presented as interpretation: readers may reasonably notice different things, and we do not claim that one reading settles an image’s meaning.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the publication’s subject and readers. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view, or editorial approval.
Corrections
If you find a factual error or a misleading description, contact us through the Contact page with the article and the detail at issue. We review correction requests and make clarifications when warranted.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid, sponsored, or partner material is identified clearly where it appears and kept distinct from editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; these are labelled as such when used, and are not presented as documentary images.
